f1 fever hits town last weekend, was there on friday with xx and sat with ws thanks to sw the bsb fan. borrowed daniel's L lens for the event, had a tough time chasing after the extremely quick f1 machines. but i must say, it was a very nicely organised events with so many performances filling the gaps between the races except for the cancelled katy perry concert. food and merchandise were too expensive though, but expected for such an event. all in all, it was a successful event and congrats to lewis hamilton(who i thought was a thing of the past)for winning the event.

fantastic long weekend

it was a packed long weekend indeed! kicked off "the time traveler's wife" at cine with xx, it is the slowest scifi movie i have ever seen, but ok la story not too bad just that the pace was a little too slow for me. 7 oats.

saturday started with tien tien and david's wedding, nicely done at marriot, congrats guys! went on to meet xx, went to travel fair. with my usual style of "shopping", we spent probably 3-4 hours hunting for the best deal and finally settled with ctc for a trip to egypt! woohoo collected L lens from daniel then met the rest at cine for inglorious basterds at 9.30. typical tarantino film, usual retro oriental-western music in the background with occasional violence and gore and jokes. though the pace is slow, violence and some funny scenes makes up for it heh 7.5 oats

sunday was spend at xx's place, followed by tennis and import nights! cars were the same, was expecting more race queens but dunno where all of them disappeared to, maybe we went too late, was quite difficult taking photos too shall post some after i am done with editing. headed to brewerks after s.i.n. for a little supper and soccer.

monday went with xx to meet michael chan for our actual day photography, very nice and friendly guy, highly recommended! made the deal! another item to strike off from the wedding to-do-list

updates for the week

just some updates to keep dusts off this blog, brought xx to seletar sunset grill before the place closes down. it was her first trip there, so we tried level 3, still it was potent enough to make my nose run, she didn't seem to have any problems with the buffalo wings though, gonna up the level in the next visit heh

after our dinner, went for a spin to seletar airport and to yishun dam, a place for car clubs to hangout. nothing exciting there that night, only a handful from vios club.

took leave on friday, went to grandparents place in the morning to show them wedding photos, headed to queenstown poly to visit sw and ww, had sap done too, very gd no pain. just had 2 spots of stains left on my #11 lol i'm so fon. nicely renovated. went to chinatown to scout for holiday packages. had massage with xx at spa elements in orchard ion followed by a fantastic meal at canale, very gd food, highly recommended.

colgate screenings started for me this weekend at westmall, just the usual, a little bored so started taking photos haha

back dated posts

just some updates,it was a packed week. went to bottle tree park last sunday for some prawn fishing action. ok not so much of action, we didn't do too well.


eagerly anticipating a catch, i had a tug but the smart prawn manage to escape.

finally our very own queen prawner sw caught her first catch.
and 2nd and 3rd with vincent catching our 4th prawn, 4 in 2.5 hours... fantastic... sw - 3, vin - 1, the rest 0! haha

whats a bday celebration without some cake on the face, going to be a standard protocol for future birthday celebrations haha

this week was also fdi week, had a short break from work, managed to catch final destination 3d on one of the days, plot wise no difference from the previous series but the effect of screws and knives flying at you is really good. on the last day of fdi, went with ws to fy's place for some photoshoot with cotton
