movies movies

some of xx's movie selections last 2 weeks

interesting movie, departures, for a moment i thought, are the japanese's english really that bad? just like the up coming comedy with the punchline "lets handsome!" shouldn't it be departed or something since its like a funeral show. then the movie explained itself, as a typo error in a newspaper ad which led to the actor getting his unexpected job. this is a really deep one, i could only appreciate the funny parts hahacouldn't really feel the sadness. overall, a slow movie but provides an insight to japanese culture. 7.5 oats!now this one! i know xx has been wanting to watch this all along since she has ALL the novels in the series. a chickflick it is, hilarious it is. now i know what women do when they go window shopping. they talk to mannequins!! how weird are they?? hahaha it also tells of how one should to step out of their comfort zones and try new stuff, who knows, happiness/success could be waiting there! 8.2 oats for a delighful entertaining comedy

ecp

took leave on friday and saturday to have a super long weekend break. friday went down to hdb to sign lease, my cpf is offically empty now hehe saturday headed to ecp after lunch. the weather started off good. went around cycling and taking photos with xx
one red tree that stood out, just like the one at sungei buloh





cool sport, para-surfing? only 2 guys doing it on the beach, the wind was strong enough to lift the guy up for a few seconds



there was a sandcastle display too


went home after dinner at ikea, was wondering why there were a group of ppl standing outside their houses, turned around and walah!

I was a very happy man. My wonderful girlfriend and I had been
dating for over a year, and so we decided to get married. There was
only one little thing bothering me...It was her beautiful younger
sister. My prospective sister-in-law was twenty-two, wore very tight
miniskirts, and generally was bra-less. It had to be deliberate.

One day her "little" sister called and asked me to come over to check
the wedding invitations. She was alone when I arrived, and she
whispered to me that she had feelings and desires for me that she
couldn't overcome. She told me that she wanted me just once before I
got married and committed my life to her sister.

Well, I was in total shock, and couldn't say a word. She said, "I'm
going upstairs to my bedroom, and if you want one last wild fling,
just come up and get me." I was stunned and frozen in shock as I
watched her go up the stairs. I stood there for a moment, then turned
and made a beeline straight to the front door. I opened the door, and
headed straight towards my car.

Lo and behold, my entire future family was standing outside, all
clapping! With tears in his eyes, my father-in-law hugged me and
said, "We are very happy that you have passed our little test. We
couldn't ask for a better man for our daughter. Welcome to the
family." And the moral of this story is:

went for photoshoot last saturday with ws, mmt, dc, jr and stan to sugei buloh! it was a wet day, damn suay, walked through the drizzle and fought with the mosquitoes.

headed down to kranji memorial, nice peaceful place. too bad it closes at 6, only had a short time to view the place, benjamin sheare's grave is there!
