the day i closed my eyes in a horror movie

NEVER have i ever thought that this could happen... but it did. had dinner with ws, kt and dt at carls jr. dt went for his camera course(another victim of the photography bug hahaha) while the 3 of us went to catch quarantine. didn't know its a remake of the spanish movie REC. anyway expected abit of the blairwitch style. went into the theatre, wow small theatre, HUGE screen. and so the show started... TERRIFYING!! so scary i had to close my eyes half way through the show. its so scary how they have no tripod/anti-shake mechanism in their video recorders. the screen was shaking most of the time. my stomach felt like its going to spit out the carls jr burger i just ate. had to close my eyes in a few scenes just to take a break. i was actually looking at my watch to see how long more before the show ended. don't be mistaken, the show is not bad as a horror show, just that i'm not cut out for this type. maybe if the seats are further away, it would be better. well at least we survived the whole show. 1/2 through the show, some ppl seated in the front few rows left. an hour later, the whole row in front of us left hahaha the show gets 6.8 oats for story and well 1 oat for entertainment( the only watchable parts are the parts when the cameraman dropped the camera and the scene is not shaking.)

Project Z part 4 + Chinese garden photoshoot

Finally, some parts i ordered arrived. Friday evening, ws and i went to the mega swift forum meet up @ kallang mac to pick up the goods. nvr seen so many swifts in a carpark before, there were at least 30 of them. managed to get it fixed up the next day

sunday morning, strangely i woke up at 1030am, on a sunday!! so early. switched on msn and then a msg popped up, "want to go chinese garden for a shoot?" wow from dt haha another one kena bitten by photography bug. so off i go together with dt, ws and yuppie.

tennis @ sw's place

met up with sw, ws and yh at westmall for dinner today then headed just next door to sw's place for tennis, well attempted tennis haha its been quite a while since we last played.

carwash / sji / snail

Turtle Wax Car Shampoo! just $8 gives u 40 washes, hand feeling itchy on saturday so went to get this with xx to do a car wash

the results? not bad not bad hehe

had SJI 10 year reunion dinner in the evening, lots of familiar faces including the now popular jonathan leong. dunno if its a good or bad thing, our form tutor didn't turn up. bad coz it was kinda nice seeing other classes had their form tutor eating with them. good coz well she wasn't well liked by my class anyway haha this is my NPCC mates 10 years back. still waiting for my class photos coz i didn't bring my camera out, so waiting for others to upload.

but i did take it out from the car to shoot st john the baptist

oakley spree

went to meet up with one of the swift club member who sells cheap oakley specs. he was featured on newspaper before for his extensive collection! recommended to yh too and he got one from him. really rich guy man, one nicely zhnged swift plus 4 bikes including ducatti wow, inside his house, boxes and boxes of oakleys really mad probably worth hundreds of thousands. bought one for xx for her birthday which is tomoro, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! heh then she suggested getting the red lens for me, i hesitated abit and the nice guy gave me a further discount haha and we took the bite.
he also taught me how to change the lenses and clean them, really nice guy. xx's glasses cost $309 in shops, we got it at $250, and my lens for $100 while outside sells for $145 =) free hard case too heh

sentosa

Went sentosa on wed to view amara resort, possibly for our solemnisation ceremony. the place looks pretty cool with a nice glass house for the event, price wise also quite reasonable! after viewing, walked around sentosa to look for dinner place
