changi beach shoot

ok deepavali, instead of having a nice long sleep, ws, yx, dc and i decided to go catch some sunrise! hopefing it won't be as disappointing as ecp but it turned out to be not too bad. met up at bukit timah reserve at 540am, before heading down to the east.

keppel bay

had dinner with the sji guys, xx and judy on sunday night @ dian xiao er. duck was ok, preferred the chicken from soup restaurant though. before that, i went to collect rented wide angle lens! really cool and big lens compared to the one i have. the pictures it produces are quite interesting.



after dinner, went to keppel bay for some drinks at tcc. ok have to admit, i think i am allergic to alcohol haha i can't even take their "frosty baileys", coffee with baileys, i turned red after that. oh well went for photoshoot after that haha, so many models to take. ended at around 1+!! reached home at 2+am which leaves me with only 3 hours to sleep before meeting ws, yx and dc for sunrise photoshoot. the coffee and eczema didn't help either. think i didn't sleep at all. shall add those photos later!

caught tropic thunder with the class guys yesterday, fantastic show haha haven't laughed so much for quite some time now, really really funny shit. especially this famous actor's "special appearance" i didn't know he was in the show until towards the end part hahah really hilarious dancing. shall not say his name if u are intending to watch the show. go catch it! 9.8 oats! lol robert downey jr was very funny as well haha

anyway i think channel 5 has really good selection of shows, especially saturdays, they call it "STAYOUT saturday movies on 5" with shows starring octopuses, lizards, crocodiles, snakes, spiders and really "spectacular" special effects =S

disappointing go-kart day

saturday after work, we met at kranji mrt all excited to head to jb for go karting.
it was all smooth flowing at the sg side but when we got to the my immigration, it was terrible. it was packed, hot(no aircon) and one irritating old man making so much noise even though he cut queue. fon... so we took 3 cabs to permas circuiting. i was in the 1st cab. received news from the rest that permas was closed, shifted to plentong karting circuit. so off we went to plentong. but what we about to see was shocking.
yes, this is the entrance to the circuit.
horrible road conditions, muddy, potholes everywhere, a 4x4 would be better. it doesn't help when the circuit is 3.5km into the plantation!
still excited over karting until... the phone rang and the other 2 cabs behind told us their driver refused to send them in. trying to discuss with the drivers.
finally reached plentong. woohoo! exciting
the go-karts! they were quite fast, fast enough to actually do a power slide up a slope! fantastic! until another phone call... the other 2 cabs decided to head to dangah bay as recommended by their drivers. wtf! well we took the cab back through the 3.5km rally-style dirt track and off to dangah bay.

well reached dangah bay and sad to say no freaking go-kart!! should have at least played 10 mins back at plentong arghh in the end took the same cab to ta ma hua yuan for dinner. at least the seafood dinner was cheap sigh...

Carshoot no.1 + Lower pierce reservoir

on friday after work, went with ws and daniel for a photoshoot. 1st stop was lower pierce reservoir, near pl's place. nice scenic area, too bad very cloudy, can't catch sunset.

made a mistake by taking the photos at too high iso, merging them for hdr made them grainy haiz!!

got abit bored at the reservoir after a while, went to have some thomson crispy prata for dinner. headed for some bishan multistorey carpark after that for 2nd round haha might have disturbed the ppl living there with our engines on and off.

around 9plus i think, got abit bored again, felt we needed a bigger space to do more tricks, cracked our heads abit, decided to go mcritchie. yup there was a big space there to play with but we were surrounded by cars(engines on). singaporeans can get quite horny eh haha but once we whipped out our cameras, one by one they left hahaha
