food places

was at the new tampines 1 on mayday for dinner, the place was packed with ppl, decided to try this new restaurant called say-chez, supposed to be famous for cheese cakes, a few interesting dishes caught our eye

wacky lychee, deep fried lychee with chicken stuffings, 1st bite of course u feel the crispy outer layer, next comes the sweetness from the lychee, followed by the savoury chicken filling, very unique experience.

xx decided to have her usual salmon
while i chose baby ribs with coffee sauce, cheesy macroni and sauteed mushrooms as sides. not too bad.
this is their recommended strawberry cheesecake shake, nice!

saturday, after tennis, went down to arab street for supper. went into an egyptian restaurant. had a glass of...
hibiscus juice! very refreshing, taste like a mix of ribena and cranberry
had something which started with S, its like a lamb roll.

walked around arab st, very happening place at night, everyone smoking shisha. went into haji lane, saw a large purple massage sign, with a welcome sign on a banana haha looks abit suspicious.
settled down on one of the "magic carpet" for shisha.

enjoyed my cup of turkish apple tea, reminded me of the beautiful turkey trip.
had a nice chat with the boss too, very friendly guy from turkey, married a singaporean and built up his own business here, a chain of turkish restaurants! shared with us his business tips too heh

at around 2+, the sky turned red and there was lightning, decided to head back before the downpour begin, which did soon after.
