looks not bad rite, just found a free program to do these effects, simply install, drag your jpegs onto the program, then wait for your polaroid photo to develop just like the real one! u want u can shake it too haha but it doesn't work that way, both digital and the original. http://www.poladroid.net/download.html
my first star trail! definitely need lots of patience, 80 shots of 30s exposure only gets you this
next time, i shall be more steady to make the trail smoother and also add something in the foreground to improve the composition haha, dunno whats that red line, ws thinks its probably a plane
woke up early on sunday to go sentosa for another shoot. picked up sw and went down to meet ws, yappie, sr and her friend sr and muffin. damn hot day, had to wear shades almost all the time. think i took too many doggy shots already, didn't take many photos of muffin and yappie. instead, shot other misc. stuff such as flowers!
err and ropes? haha pano
walked down from palawan beach down to siloso, settled down on a pavillion right beside a bunch of foul-mouthed ahbengs haha amazing how every sentence that came out of their mouth could contain at least one vulgarity! some combos are amazing. then came a whole lot of smoking ah-lians, and yes equally vulgar too.
sr, sr and muff tried to walk muffin, and yes, it does help to get girls attention if u have a dog with you. just a few steps and 2 bikini girls started playing with him, asked me to take photos for them too! haha cheap thrill, turned out that one of them is a dental therapist who knows sw, what a small world. too bad sw didn't have much luck with the beach boys yappie and muffin our long-term models
and this is sw, our up coming model who shall pose for our next photoshoot in her new yellow stringed bikini
walked down to one of the beach cafes for lunch - pizzas and hot dog, expensive and not filling. the place is so filled with ang mos. drove down to 1 degree 15, very nice place, full of rich ppl too, lambos, ferraris, m3s, porsches, damn... couldn't go in to park, so off we went.
caught 2 movies in a row this week, thursday was an impromptu decision. walking around junction 8 and saw ponyo @ 7pm. went ahead to watch after dinner as xx wanted to watch. she has always been a fan of studio ghibli shows. just like how we specially visited ghibli museum when we were touring japan.
well, the story is quite err strange, in the end i'm still unsure of whats going on, way too much fantasy, just like other ghibli productions haha the animation aspect of the show is good, beautifully drawn, colourful world, read that this is one of the very few films which are hand drawn, total of 170,000 separate images were created! just weird that at 5 years old, kids can fall in love haha this show gets 7 oats.
then on friday, headed to town with the dental folks to catch changeling its a long movie(about 2hr 20mins), quite slow too. but hey i actually liked the show, maybe coz the line "based on a true story" always makes a show more realistic. very seldom do i like slow movies, the other slow movie which i found not bad is the pianist. anyway, angelina sexy luscious lips jolie leads the show. very good acting i must say, possible nominee in the oscars. but like all her other shows(wanted, tomb raider, mr & mrs smith), she gets naked in this one too! haha the show is about a mother's relentless search for her missing boy, going through all kinds of shit to find him. its about good vs. evil, corrupted medical doctors/policemen vs. righteous dentists/teachers/preachers!!! yay!! haha finally dentists are the good guys. worth watching, 8.7 oats!
went to cineleisure after work on monday to play wii. met up with sr, fy, yh, sw and kt for dinner. before that, sr suggested gg around the taka basement to eat samples as now theres chinese new year exhibition. so off we went collecting cookies, pineapple tarts etc, so paiseh! had dinner at central with my favourite luncheon meat, egg maggie mee. got to cine @ around 8pm. lucky there were available consoles. actually its quite cheap for group entertainment. it cost $10.30 per hour and $2 for an additional controller. extension is $8 per hour so in total 6 of us shared and only spent $24 bucks, thats $4 a person for 2hours cheaper than watching movie haha one of my favourite wii games so far, raving rabbids, really crazy stuff like this mini game where u have to grab the worms out of his tooth before it cause decay haha this is what we normally bluff kids in clinic, "catch worms" in your teeth.
of course theres wii sports too, some boxing action. and more hahah
and this is how u play bowling! and wii boxing haha
only down side is the variety of games, so little...
anyway alex suggested a very good idea to implement in the clinic. to put touch screen booking machines for patients to book appoinments. so if patients want an appointment, he or she will go to the machine, touch the empty appt slots just like how u book tickets for movies. if no slots available, too bad, cannot complain, lan lan go home! hahaha want to scold can, scold the machine and look like an idiot. i guess payments can be done by scanning their ezlink card too. for walk-in appointments, there can be the pain chart, for pain of grades 1-5(not so pain) press button 1 which will lead u to the appoinment booking screen! hahaa since not so pain ma. for grades 6-10(very pain) press button 2 which will lead to a screen which says (you are in severe pain, press the button below to call for an ambulance, it will arrive shortly after button is pressed!!) wahaha damn good idea! then our clinics will be situated far far away or hidden so nobody can come in and disturb us. but if this is really implemented then the psa got no jobs oh well...
was at chinatown last friday with ws, dt and jr for another round of shoot. took 1 hour to get there! bad jam during peak hour, had to queue to get a lot too. anyway managed to get everything done by 7+. had dinner at some coffeeshop, then started to hunt for our shooting places. chinatown has indeed turned into CHINAtown... went up to some old hdb apartments around chinatown complex to get an aerial view.
view from the top saw channel newsasia videocrew and another photographer at the same place taking shots too. old and newjr taking shots
after about half an hour, we moved down to get upclose to the action ws having a gd time really packed
xueli performing some hokkien songs
jr loving her songs haha dt getting some pics of her too moved out of the night market, took some shots along the streets
Sri Mariamman Temple had some dessert at a hongkong dessert place, not too bad, very thick. i had walnut/almond paste. their gui ling gao cost $5 a bowl!! after dessert, we walked towards people's park complex where we could get a nice view of eu tong sen st. panning shots
first time i entered the complex when all the shops are closed. very eerie indeed. took the lift up to the carpark, real dark and quiet. thankfully, we managed to find the spot. some panoramas
wah fast car haha fairlady on the move letf the place at around 11+, mission accomplished.
more photos posted @ facebook.
caught red cliff 2 last night at 1220am with the dental ppl and xx. i like the show. packed with action and strategies. body count was very high, scenes of bodies getting shot by arrows or blown up by explosives/rocks were getting repetitive mid way through the show. but there were a few things i discovered from the show -now i know where the terrorists and kamakazi japanese learned their tricks. -the armours the soldiers were wearing were quite useless, might as well not wear any haha at least can run faster. -cao cao not exactly a horny person, rather drink tea then "ahem". -there were gays way back in history. -if there was a pole vault competition, Zhao Yun would have won. the show gets 8 oats, go catch it now!
