HK Day 4 - Stanley market / Repulse Bay / IFC / Mong kok

today is dt's last day in hk. so after breakfast, they headed straight for the airport. we continued our exploration of hk.
taking the public bus to our first destination!! repulse bay!! but...
oops we overshot and landed up at the other end of the bus route, stanley market, well we planned to see stanley anyway haha
stanley market full of streetside stalls but too touristy already, not that cheap.

had lunch at mac, ebi burger!! everywhere seems to have it except singapore.

after walking around stanley area, we took the public bus back towards repulse bay hoping we can find it. (if we play amazing race surely kicked out already lol) thankfully the bus driver was nice enough to alert us when to stop.

as u can see, quite a warm day, took the bus back to the city where its finally time for a little shopping
look at her happy face haha ifc is a mega mall for all the branded stuff

a taichi statue, many ppl wake up early to do taichi in hongkong, apparently u can join in too for a free 1 hour lesson

kfc's portugese egg tarts, yes u heard it right, KFC as recommended by dt who got the info from his nurse, not that special actually
LV boutique! xx's fav, too bad she hesitated, nvr bought anything in the end heeh but they are very friendly compared to singapore's staff

Lan kwai Fong! a clubbing drinking place! but no we didn't go there haha
instead, we went to mongkok area, nu ren jie(ladies street)
xx still excited about shopping, she seems deprived of it for the past few days haha
roasted goose for dinner! very nice crispy skin with about 2mm of fats underneath. meat is tender

continued on shopping, xx got herself a hk streetsign, boots, a MAHJONG set, make it a heavy one haha i also tried to hunt for my nurse's lv bag. strangely the stalls display all other brands like gucci, prada but none of them dared to put up lv. some only show the lv catalogue. tried to ask one stall then the girl called on their hp few minutes later someone brought the goods haha then gosh she wanted to sell me sgd$200+!! oh my tried to bargain hard and manage to slash by half. well at least now my nurse gets her goods haha the quality quite good though looks like the real stuff which we saw earlier on in the lv boutique. original cost $2000+.

wanted to head down to temple st. but due to the heavy mahjong set, decided to rest for the night.
