exploring the southern ridges

today's weather not too bad, decided to bring xx to explore the southern ridges, "a 9-kilometre chain of green, open spaces spanning the rolling hills of Mount Faber Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park and Kent Ridge Park before ending at West Coast Park." but of course, not so garang. drove to mount faber then went on to Henderson waves.

very nicely designed bridge, quite high up i must say, got some models doing photoshoots too haha but average looking only.



came across this carpark with a "unique" mitsubishi lancer with "custom" aerodynamic body kit made from cardboard... hehe plenty of deflectors too

Henderson waves brought us from mt faber to telok blangah hill park where we went up to the terrace garden. beautiful Bougainvillea garden and a nice view of singapore from the top.


next up is the forest walk, 1.3km elevated walkway which brought us to alexandra road where my old jc used to be.

a new bridge called Alexandra Arch led us across to this new place called HortPark. A nice place which sells plants and also provides ideas for a greener homes. theres a nice thai restaurant too, should be quite nice to chill out at night.




we decided to turn back coz we still need to get back to the car before night fall heh so ends our journey to the west.

Kungfu Panda is very funny, if you are catching it, theres a short clip after the credits. many upcoming cartoons to watch - madagascar 2, ice age 3 and wall-e haha
