i'm the tallest!

went to xx's pri school today for their mid autumn festival celebrations. feel kinda funny with all the little kids running around. the classroom chairs and tables were tiny, the basketball court was the i-could-slam-dunk type, and gosh i had to bend 180 degrees to wash my hands at the sink lol kinda cute. didn't go for the lantern tour though, it would be odd for me alone to walk with the kids and their parents. so i just went for the foodyep 3 bucks for a big bowl of curry and bread and a packet of papadum, not too bad.
here is ms liu selling chicken wings and nuggets at a dollar each. it became 50cts for 2 chicken wing towards the end lol and i'm proud to say i sold quite a few packets of wings myself! haha

amazing race: darn the single moms suck! karma almost got to them this episode, hope they get out soon for being so evil. pity the cheerleaders got lost, now only got the beauty queens. Peter and Sarah are amazing! hope they win though she is leaking heh

batam brudders

yesterday the batam bros + xx went to settlers for dinner. played games, ate gelat cheesecakes and bitter mint mocha. xx was fast with the bones, sr not too fast, busy with "2!!", "3!!", kt had loads of excuses, yh became the boss and yeah i rule the train tracks. sent xx home after that then the batam bros went on to cineleisure for a midnight show. surprisingly it was almost full house despite being a weekday. quite a number of punks. we watched a horror show "pulse" and not piles, plot wise wasn't that fantastic but it had the shocking factor which made sr go "ahhhhhhh, wooooo woooo wooo". it gets 7.5oats. the show ended at 1.30am, so headed down to lavender for 2nd round of frogs. the first round being at geylang on monday with kt, zx and ct.

batam wOOTS!!

woohoo back from batam, became millionaires the day we got there lol had a real relaxing time there, heres some stuff about batam

1) loads of aunties and uncles go batam (dunno do what) and they like to jam up the exit of the ferry even when we are still far away from our destination.
2) SGD100 for 2 nights sounded cheap to us initially but the place turned out to be one of the higher end resorts and of course with that we became vips. (being chauffeured to our doorstep even though it is only 5mins walk away)
3) the locals like to giggle at tall ppl...
4)there is actually an option to have bananaboat ride for 1 hour!?
5)everything outside the resort is cheaper.
6)levi's(about $80+ there compared to $120 here) and oakleys ($180 for a half frame) are cheap over there
7) food is also damn cheap in the town centre, $1+ for a plate of chicken rice or wanton mee? 8)$16 for a 1.5hr aromatherapy massage or body scrub? $13 for a thai massage?
9)my masseuse giggled again, just like the one in thailand.yh's masseuse tried to pick him up lol "from singapore? are u married?"
10)SGD 200 makes u a millionaire yeah!
11)nagoya is like full of chinese ppl, maybe the place where ppl keep their mistresses. its a heaven for pirated goods, cds, dvds, branded goods.
12)Batam ppl eat crackers with chilli in all their meals, like some appetizer
13)they tune in to class 95, 98.7, mediacorp channels and even singapore magazines. got bookworm club books around too lol
14) shiok to have drinks in the pool at the poolside bar, feels heavenly, like a king
15) batam paradise (rum, pineapple and dunno what) is lethal hah at least to someone who seldom drinks like me
16)$17 a person gets u fish, chilli and pepper crabs, garlic prawns, hot plate tofu, kang kong belachan, rice and drinks in a kelong restaurant.
17)security is very tight in our resort, they check all vehicles for bombs. seeing the guard patrolling alone makes u feel safe, esp when his biceps are as big as ur head and his uniform buttons looks like their are going to pop, right sr?
18)old korean folks can still sing when they are drunk
19)fengshui plays a part when u are playing blackjack or pairs, helps alot when u are drunk with magaritas
20)ralph lauren polo tees cost only $36! and their labels comes with or without the words ralph lauren.
21)singapore waters are safe! our ferry got intercepted by the police coast guard so they could film the process of doing spotchecks on ferries.
22) we came as 4 males (as indicated in our immigration cards) and left as the 4 musketeers!

sinful

had dinner with xx and 3 funny guys today, zx, ct and kt. went to this place called new york new york in city link. got a u-shaped table in this cubicle which looked quite cool. the menu was quite funny too with recommendations under the headings "gotta have it", "diet friendly" and "very sinful" lol i had to go for the "very sinful" hah so my main course was bockwurst sausages wrapped with bacon and cheese with fries and salad. yumm hah the salad was surprisingly good too. then came the choice for dessert, had to be "very sinful" again and so had deep fried mars bar with icecream. yeah mars bar, the chocolate bar with caramel, quite cool. after the meal, played a game of bluff which didn't seem to be zx's cup of tea. dai dee was next with graded assholes incorporated and well, poor xx had the honour of having the highest level, me being level 0, kt the dominating king and ct well, was being ignored by his fellow grade asshole zx heh

an update

well well, its been a long time since my last entry, its the hols!! yeah though i know it will pass quite quickly, hope i can make the best out of it. it was an exciting start to the hols last friday. after school, 6(xl, yh, jr, e, ll and me) of us headed down to yh's favourite cafe, settlers. for those who do not know, its a cafe that serves "ok" food but the main draw is the unique board games they provide for u to play while u eat. after we dispersed, dunno who came up with an idea to go night cycling. so xl, yh and i just went for it. went to pick up yh and his bicycles and i got picked up by a girl instead hehe kiddin, this girl approached me to accompany her up to her place coz she suspected someone was following her, well so yeah i accompanied her up. started cycling at around 1+ coz got many kok ups. despite the many screw ups along the way (my bicycle had a flat tyre, yh's bicycle's chain got stuck, pedal dropped out, chained the bicycles together realising the keys were left back at home etc etc) we managed to conquer west coast park by 3+ in the morning.
