had supper last night at baghdag st. with xl, yh, stan, ws, ken, zx, dt lol. it was arabic style. everything was well unique. the ambience was good. theres a nice carpeted cosy corner but it was occupied, so we took a table outside. tried their specialy drinks, which were mainly milk based. theres a honey +milk and another milky drink with the essence of bandung. honey and milk was abit bland while the bandung one was very sweet.foodwise, tried a plate of kebab and bread. it cost 7 bucks but the description of the dish sounded good. so decided to give it a try. surprisingly it turned out to be like... hmm from this pic it looks not bad but really its much smaller than it appears. 4 balls and 2 slices of arabic bread and wierd tasting salad. then the guys wanted to try...haha yes thats zx, thats not a recorder but a sisha pipe. they tried smoking and well there were hilarious scenes. talk cock till about 4am then head back home.
went tampines mall today to hand up xx's amazing race application form today, so qiao met sr and shujun. walked around toys'r'us and saw this amazing toy! yes! its a wind up sushi which can zip all over your room... how exciting... -.-"

went to zoo yesterday, they finally changed the animal show. one part of it involved the zookeeper to come into the audience to look for so called missing "friend". "look under your seats or in your bag" she says, but i hecked. then she started walking towards my direction to my place. is this bag yours?so obiang how can be mine?? all the while i tot it belongs to the family sitting beside. but they said no theirs, ah so must be one of their tricks, probably some fake snake going to pop out lol then she pulls out a wow i've been sitting beside a snake all the while without knowing. what if theres a itchyhand kid haha open up the bag and play with the snake. that would be interesting
finally watched the exorcism of emily rose today. not your typical horror movie, but i liked it even though xx fell asleep at the starting part haha the starting was abit slow but gradually builds up as the hearing of the case begins. i tot it was really interesting to see how the lawyer had to defend her case using anthropological, spiritual and religious grounds against the prosecutor's medical facts which had the doctors backing claiming that emily was suffering from some mental disorders and epilepsy. theres a blurred line between right and wrong, and to see the lawyer going through all the trials such as the risk of losing her job, facing the demon's attacks, using faith to fight her battle. thats really impressive. 9 oats!

xx showed me the superband website today, theres a particular group called yuan sheng dai, they specially mentioned that a dentist is in the band haha reminds me of prof chew's housewarming party. there was a dentist who told us to use dentistry as a base, a foundation to try other stuff. that doctor is now distributing aston martin cars. heard from weisong that theres another dentist who does car reviews for a magazine and he gets to test drive the new cars. and on the amazing race, theres a dentist and his wife taking part in it too though he seems quite foul tempered hehe wonder if i will be doing extra stuff in the future or perhaps i'll be too lazy to do anything about it heh

wooo relaxing after the exams, saturday got supper followed by a chill out session with the class people at bukit batok nature reserve, sunday played dota and yeah played badminton with xx and the class today had an errmm not too bad work out hehe... its been a long time since i had an exercise and thank goodness theres fresh air. had lunch at lido then went to catch underworld revolutions at cineleisure.
the show's pretty good cept that i forgot the story in part one so starting abit blur but it helped when they explained along the way. the plots quite gd, special effects nice but they made an excellent decision to cast kate beckinsale! wooo damn chio with her nice glowing blue eyes. of course scenes of intimacy was "ahem" very well directed hehehe beautiful body ; ) 7.8oats!
2 nights in a row i've been breathing in 2nd hand smoke! damn it! my lifes shortened... fuck all smokers who smoke in public places u think u all fucking cool issit wish i could dunk them in a pool of urine or something. whats with the fucking law of no smoking in public places, when is that going to fucking happen!? why don't they implement rules like the army, smokers can only fucking smoke in a 2x2m yellow box! haha yeah! situated away from the public all u fucking nuisance! better still! construct an air tight container where if u want to smoke u have to go into that container to smoke! yeah u can make your moneys worth by breathing in your own 2nd hand smoke at the same time! wahahahah

was studying in school on saturday, then xx wanted to go back watch the pianist at night. i was thinking the pianist?? what kind of show is the pianist? sounds boring. then she said" well it won oscars". so well, decided to go her place catch the show. the 1st thing that stood out was the lead actor, he is the same guy with the big crooked nose in king kong. he won best actor leh haha for the pianist that is. as i watched, i started to feel like i knew the story. yes indeed! its actually about this Polish Jewish musician who struggles to survive the destruction of the Warsaw ghetto of World War II.
just as what i had saw in the holocaust museum in washington during my student exchange last year. but this time, the story of the holocaust was presented in the life of the pianist. right from the start of the war where he and his family was forced to stay in the ghettos, all the way till the end of the war. this really brought together all the images and information i had gathered from the holocaust museum. so in a way, the movie was quite educational but abit sad though, to think humans are capable of such acts. but the show did try to show that the germans are humans with feelings as one german commander helped the lead by giving him food and not exposing him. in the end, it wasn't a boring show, instead i think i liked it! haha
today i saw "league of the extraordinary gentlemen", well the younger me would say this is a fantastic superhero action show, much better than the pianist! but now, i would think otherwise. maybe i'm getting older, though the concept of mixing the unique characters such as dr jekyl and mr hyde, invisible man and a vampire together still sounds interesting, i somehow prefer pianist heh just now on the phone xx also say"nowadays u like slow songs huh?" yeah maybe rock is abit too rock for me. and just like what joseph said on his blog" Think i'm outgrowing rock 'n' roll, foo fighters give me a headache;I'm getting too old for them" haha here's another sign... my posts are getting longer! had a good day, studied till 1030pm, decided to have a gd rest, having icecream now hehe, 2 of my favourite classic flavours, peppermint choc chip and raspberry ripple! the type of flavours u can get from those icecream uncles, yeah you can never get sick of them.
yes about the title for this post, i've actually got a few but shall intro one of them today, hes handsome, but very shy and quiet especially when peoples around. want to see his pic? here u goyeah its mr gecko, heres a picture of him coming out of his home - our family portrait. remembered last time he lost his tail once, but has since gotten back another, look how shuai he is now haha unlike other geckos, hes very quiet and so we don't really bother about him. ok maybe he shits around once in a while. he normally comes out at night and sleeps behind the portrait in the day. species harmony!
had my 2nd accident this week. my first i remembered was with old suzuki swift. i was in suntec carpark, circling around for half and hour looking for space until i became very fed up. then i saw a car coming out of the lot from behind, then i put to reverse gear and chiong back. then i scratched the outside of the side mirror against the pillar. lucky only got scratch marks, the whole side mirror never dropped out.
then this week i was with xx, trying to reverse park the car. then this car came by and its presence seemed to gave me pressure to park faster. so i quickly reversed. then i forgot about the protruding pillars that every multistorey carpark now has. and yes i bumped into it. sigh now got a small dent there! sian bothered me quite abit. oh well! lesson learnt! patience patience...
had a sucky day today, didn't get much study done haiz anyway it was made up by a test drive of my good friend's new car! too bad the car is too new to be really "tested" hehehe played around with the gears, kinda missed manual cars but felt abit wierd shifting gears and stepping clutch. heres a front view nice aggressive headlights, the side view from far looks abit like bmw 5 series heh add some eyelids and it will look like the euro version. ok i shall help him zhng his car haha tada! ok my photoshop skills not very good haha but looks more fierce now eh hehe eyelids and rims. but what i like is the taillights... taillights look like skyline's! nice! pity they took them off from the facelifted integra damn! and on the inside... impressive meters, digital speedo looks futuristic but not very used to that. just like new cars nowadays, can't see the bonnet from the drivers seat. smooth ride. Alex says a full tank can last him slightly more than a week, thats much better than getz which can last about 4 days and its only 1.3l compared to the civics 1.8l. alright thats all for now, time to worry bout exams...
